Peru CAPTIC Teacher Professional Development Video Clip III (End-of-Training)
The Peru CAPTIC project employed technology in order to change teaching practices in Peruvian classrooms. This video clip shows one of the teachers participating in CAPTIC, Lucina, at the end of her training from IES. Lucina has completely changed her style of teaching; she has gone from merely asking questions to ensuring that all students have a chance to participate, and is using the students’ ideas and responses to encourage reflective reasoning about different topics.
