BEAMS Guyana Game: Washing the Body
Guyana has launched the Basic Education Access and Management Support (BEAMS) Project in an effort to raise the quality of its basic education. Funded by the Inter-American Development Bank, the BEAMS Project aims to improve literacy and numeracy attainment throughout Guyana, but particularly in its most underserved, impoverished regions. The Interactive Radio Instruction programs support core mathematics instruction for Grades 1 and 2. The educational purpose of this segment is to enable students to learn the parts of the body while playing the radio game.
