Macedonia E-Schools

E-Schools is advancing the Macedonia National Education Development Strategy to base "the educational process on the principles of interactive teaching, with a focus on creative learning, critical thinking, problem-solving, and implementation of modern education technology." To this end, the project is putting to use computers donated by the Government of the People's Republic of China, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Macedonia. The project is installing computers in every primary school and high school in Macedonia, and is training teachers in the use of technology to support student-centered and project-based pedagogy. The project is also developing a Learning Web Portal in Macedonian and Albanian, the only one of its kind.
