Creating Opportunities and Building Skills: MEGA-SkY is a development program that addresses two issues of major concern to the education sector in India: (a) how to provide greater educational opportunities for disadvantaged Muslim children (the Program’s MEGA Component); and (b) how to strengthen livelihood skill training policies and programs for youth (the Program’s SkY Component). Launched in 2009, MEGA-SkY is implemented by Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC) and its partner, the International Youth Foundation (IYF). It is made possible through support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
