Workforce development

Youth in the Philippines work on machine parts as part of EQuALLS2

Workforce development programs focus on putting in place a supportive policy and institutional environment so that learners gain access to jobs and employers benefit from increased workforce productivity. They also promote the mastery of new, job-related knowledge and skills, and access to employment opportunities. Through its specially-designed workforce development programs, IDD helps youth gain the knowledge and skills they need to lead productive lives and contribute to economic growth.

IDD's workforce development programs aim to make education and training programs more responsive to economic needs and prepare youth for the demands of the global market place.  Our workforce development programs can also help support a range of objectives–from enhancing economic growth to helping with the rebuilding efforts of post-conflict countries.
