Strategies
The strategy for the dot-EDU T4 Initiative is to introduce the innovative application of educational technologies in ways that support India’s broad-based national Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and which transforms the quality of education. Dot-EDU T4 uses diverse multiple media and multichannel strategies in each state, all of which emphasize the incorporation of high quality, project and activity-based instruction for learning in subject areas of greatest demand. The challenge in each environment is to match the appropriate delivery system and technological inputs to the learning environments and to work continuously with local organizations and government agencies to develop sustainable and measurable results and to ensure they reach the most vulnerable populations.

- Radio, video, computer and digital technologies for teaching and learning in primary school environments
- Interactive, child-centered, project and activity-based learning methodologies
- Local development and adaptation of culturally appropriate teaching and learning materials with instructional games and activities for joyful learning
- Scientifically designed curricula based on research and hard spots
- Innovative teacher training and community outreach
- Monitoring and evaluation to inform decision making
- Researching and publishing case studies and reports in the field of information and communication technologies and primary education
