Goals
The main goals of dot-EDU T4 are to:
- Improve the access of primary school age students to quality education using ICT based tools
- Increase equity in schools for the hardest to reach primary school age students, particularly girls and members of the backward class
- Build the capacity of teachers to engage students in effective and joyful learning
- Create technology tools to produce, deliver and measure educational quality on a large scale
- Build on existing technological strengths locally, nationally and internationally
EDC and its many dot-EDU NGO and government partners believe that educational quality and equitable access are intrinsically connected. Therefore the aim is to improve the mass delivery of educational quality in order to have an impact on what is learned and who is learning it. EDC and its partners are making great strides towards achieving these goals in their target states.
